About the Scholarship

Fort Worth Scottish Rite Foundation was started to improve its members and enhance the communities in which they live by teaching and emulating the principles of Brotherly Love, Tolerance, Charity, and Truth, while actively embracing high social, moral, and spiritual values, including fellowship, compassion, and dedication to God, family, and country.


What are the requirements needed while applying for this scholarship?

  • Students must submit their ACT/SAT score-cards.

  • Applicants are required to submit two personal reference letters while applying for this grant.

  • The students applying for this scholarship must have submitted two academic reference letters.

  • The understudies applying for this award must present there FAFSA application.

  • Students are required to demonstrate their financial need.


Fort Worth Scottish Rite Foundation award amounts to

  • This scholarship provides $1500 annually, which is non-renewable.

  • The total number of awards offered by this scholarship is limited to 50 candidates based on the students meeting their requirements.


Deadline info

The applications are to be presented before the end of March 01, 2020. Understudies are informed to present their grant application, and other requirements are to be submitted before the due date. Applications and other data are accessible online on the Fort Worth Scottish Rite Foundation website.



Eligibility Criteria

  • The student must be graduating in a high school in one of the 33 counties served by the Fort Worth Scottish Rite.

  • The applicant must be enrolled in an accredited two-year or four-year university or college.

  • The applicant must be planning to attend a Community College might also consider submission of the Major Thomas Spencer Community College Scholarship.
