About the Scholarship
FTE Fellowships for Doctoral Students of African Descent is a scholarship program which provides financial support for doctoral students of African descent who have completed the course work stage of their Ph.D. or Th.D. program in religion, theological studies or biblical studies. To accomplish this mission is by offering diverse young adults, students and partner organizations financial support and opportunities to develop leadership ability of the student in the church, economy and theological education.
How to Apply for Scholarship?
In order to be the recipient of this scholarship, an applicant must fill and submit the scholarship application form which contains a student's general information.
As the scholarship assists the students on the basis of financial need. hence all applicants must demonstrate their financial assistance towards academic education.
To obtain this scholarship opportunity an applicant must demonstrate the academic merit that the student has achieved.
In addition to that, an applicant must also submit the official transcript indicating he/she has enrolled in a Th.D. or Ph.D. program as a full-time student in religious, theological, or biblical studies.
Award Amount and Deadline:
The foundation is assisting the students financially based on financial need.
The deadline date for this scholarship fund is 1st February 2019, All applicants are required to send the official transcripts and scholarship application on or before the deadline date.
The applicant must be a citizen or permanent resident of U.S or Canadia.
The applicant must be enrolled at an accredited U.S. or Canadian academic institution.
The applicant must be of African descent enrolled in a Th.D. or Ph.D. program as a full-time student in religious, theological, or biblical studies.
The applicant may not be enrolled in the Doctor of Ministry (D.Min.) programs.
