About the Scholarship

Scholarships are not just a form of financial aid but hope and motivation for the students who wish to pursue their education in spite of all the hurdles. The Fukunaga Scholarship Foundation also strives towards this mission and supports meritorious students who are in need of financial help.

The Fukunaga Scholarship Foundation was established in the year 1950 to encourage students from Hawaii to pursue a career in Business.

The foundation provides financial support to more than 500 students based on their academic excellence, financial need, leadership ability, and the perseverance to work towards a career in business and related fields.
