About the Scholarship

Healy Foundation Scholarship is licensed by Healy Foundation. The establishment was set up to honor James P. and Debra Fitzgerald Healy by their ten kids with the assistance of their committed life partners and close friends. 

Healy Foundation Scholarship is given to rising or current school Junior or Senior understudies at a certified four-year college or school. The motive behind the scholarship is to help students advance their academic and personal goals by supporting them financially.


Application Process

  • Applicants must demonstrate an existing need for financial assistance combined with unexpected hardship.

  • The understudies applying for this award must present a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) application form to determine what a student's family is capable of doing for the education.

  • Candidates are required to provide Letters of Inquiry (LOIs) from nonprofit organizations working in Oregon and/or Hawaii.


Scholarship Award Amount

  • This scholarship provides $3000 annually which is non-renewable.

  • The total number of awards offered by this scholarship varies depending on the availability of funds and total applications received for the current academic year.


Deadline Information

All the necessary documents and forms must be submitted to the concerned department on or before the end of March 31, 2020, to be among the eligible applicants to receive the award amount.


Eligibility Criteria

  • Candidate must be a resident from greater metropolitan areas of Boston, Los Angeles, New Haven, New York, Philadelphia, or Providence.

  • The scholarship is provided to candidates who have undergone sudden changes in their financial status to attend college.

  • Must be a current college junior or senior at an accredited four-year university or college with a minimum GPA of 3.0 or above out of 4.
