About the Scholarship
Hebert Memorial Scholarship
Jacquelyn and Donald Hebert were married on Feb. 13, 1954. In the wake of coming back from Korea in service for our nation, Don worked for Michigan Bell for a long time. Jacki worked for Michigan Bell for a 35 year.
Both Jacki and Don were individuals from the Telecom Pioneers, the biggest industry- related volunteer association in the world with tasks running from helping the disabled to fostering literacy. Don passed away in 1993 and Jacki passed away in 2008.
Jacki and Don had no children of their own. In any case, they valued the advantages of school training and wanted to help submitted students go to school. The Hebert Memorial Scholarship Fund was set up upon Jacki's passing to help fund the education of students who are Saginaw County inhabitants and have a "B" or better normal in secondary school.
