About the Scholarship

Heritage Academic Scholarship is accredited by Heritage University. The foundation was started to empower a multi-cultural and inclusive student body to overcome the social, cultural, economic and geographical barriers that limit access to higher education. Heritage Academic Scholarship is provided to eligible non-resident incoming freshmen at three levels.

What are the basic requirements needed to apply for this scholarship?\

  • The students applying for this scholarship must have been completed their Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) application to receive this award.

  • Students must be included in community service, clubs, academic competitions, research, athletics,  etc.

  • Applicants must demonstrate leadership potential in and out of the classroom.

  • Official transcripts must be submitted by the students.

Heritage Academic Scholarship award amounts to

  • This scholarship provides $13000 annually, which is non-renewable.

  • The total number of awards offered by this scholarship varies depending on the student's academic progress and availability of funds.

Deadline information

The applications are to be submitted by the end of December 15, 2020. Students are informed to submit their scholarship application and other requirements are to be submitted before the due date. Applications and other information are available online on the Heritage University website.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Applicant should have a GPA of 3.0.

  • Applicant should be a high school senior.

  • Applicant should be pursuing a full-time undergraduate degree.

  • Applicant's parent or guardian must be a member of the heritage high parent organization.
