About the Scholarship
Hoards Dairyman Scholarship is the financial support provided by the National Future Farmers of America (FFA) Organization to help students pay for their education with zero burden.
FFA was begun as a unique youth association that changes lives and gets ready individuals for chief authority, self-awareness, and vocation accomplishment through horticultural instruction.
Hoards Dairyman Scholarship is granted to one competitor who is taken on a postsecondary foundation. The amount received can be used to pay for his/her tuition, fees, room, board, and many more.
Scholarship Application Process
First, students are required to submit their ACT/SAT score-cards while applying for this scholarship along with the application form to demonstrate their progress in academics.
An essay of 1000 words or less explaining their career goals, educational objectives, and personal goals must be submitted.
A candidate statement of 1000 words or less must be submitted describing why the candidate must be awarded for this scholarship.
Students must also complete the financial analysis section of the application.
Once the applications have been sent by a student to a concerned department, it is important that they obtain all the appropriate endorsements.
An FFA member must obtain the electronic approval from their FFA advisor before the signature page is printed. A non-FFA member will just have to send their signed page after the online application submission.
Scholarship Award Amount
The scholarship award amounts to $1000 annually and is non-renewable.
The total number of awards offered by this scholarship is limited to one deserving candidate each year based on the availability of funds.
All the documents mentioned above must be sent to the financial aid department of the organization no later than February 06, 2020. Any delay in submitting the application will lead to disqualification.
- A candidate must be a member of FFA.
A student must be a high school senior at the time of application.
An applicant must demonstrate their excellence in academics by maintaining a grade point average of at least 3 or above.
To be eligible for the scholarship, a recipient must be planning to enroll as a full-time student in any recognized college or a university and be a legally recognized citizen of the United States.
