About the Scholarship
The scholarship is started in memory of the founder of the first Women's Transportation Club in the U.S. (Los Angeles, CA). LTNA scholarships are funded through the generosity of individual contributors dedicated to the future of the transportation logistics industry. LTNA scholarship awards are based upon candidate's scholastic ability, potential, professional interest, character and financial need as determined by LTNA Scholarship Trustees.
How to Apply for Scholarship?
All applicants must submit a completed scholarship application in order to apply for this scholarship award.
A student should also submit a certified copy of his/her college/university official transcript.
In addition to that, he/she must submit two letters of recommendation from faculty members.
A recipient is also required to write an essay of 250 words, explaining why he/she has chosen transportation or an allied field as a career path, and outline your objectives.
Award Amount and Deadline:
The scholarship award amount is $1500 given to all eligible candidates per academic year.
A completed application, with all specified supporting papers, & documents, must be received no later than July 25th.
The applicant must be a graduating high school senior or undergraduate student enrolled in an accredited institution.
Must be pursuing higher education in a field related to transportation logistics, supply chain management, traffic management, transportation safety and/or related transportation industry operations and services.
