About the Scholarship

Illinois CPA Society Accounting Textbook Scholarship is authorized by the Illinois CPA Society. The foundation was started in the year 1903 that provides customized education, timely and relevant information, influential advocacy, and countless opportunities to make powerful professional connections.


What are the requirements needed while applying for this scholarship?

  • Students are required to demonstrate financial need and their achievement.

  • The candidates are educated to present their Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) application to get this award.


Illinois CPA Society Accounting Textbook Scholarship award amounts to

Eligibility Criteria

  • The applicant must be a U.S. citizen and an Illinois resident.

  • The applicant must be enrolled in a college or university in Illinois 

  • The applicant must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 or equivalent.

  • The applicant must plan to sit for the CPA exam in Illinois within three years of the application date and demonstrate progress in accounting courses.

  • The applicant must also demonstrate achievement and financial need.
