About the Scholarship

Iota Chapter Scholarship is sponsored and is recognized by the Kappa Delta Rho Foundation. The Kappa Delta Rho Foundation is a 501 (c)(3) charitable and educational corporation.

Undergraduate members of the Kappa Delta Rho Fraternity have a variety of scholarships available to them. The Iota Chapter Scholarship is endowed by the Iota Chapter alumni and goes to a member of the Iota Chapter at Bucknell University.


How to apply for this scholarship?

  • Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) application must be submitted by the students who are planning to apply for this scholarship to determine his/her family's financial position to pay for their child's education.

  • The student must provide three short essays discussing his/her campus service and/or leadership activities, and community involvement.

  • A student must also upload a copy of his most recent transcript or grade report. 


Scholarship Award Amount

  • This scholarship amount ranges from $900 to $1,100 and is non-renewable.

  • A total of five awards are offered by this scholarship annually for deserving students.


Deadline Information

The applications and relevant documents must be submitted to the concerned department by the end of June 15, 2020.

Students are informed to submit their scholarship application and other requirements before the due date as any application sent post-June will be disqualified.



Eligibility Criteria

  • An applicant must be a good standing member of the Kappa Delta Rho Iota Chapter.

  • A student should have a minimum grade average of B to be eligible for the scholarship.

  • Selection is based upon vocational objectives, leadership, and personal statement.
