Islamic Scholarship Fund (ISF)
The Islamic Scholarship Fund(ISF) main mission is to address the discriminated American Muslims students in the field and occupations that influence public opinion and make public policy.ISF’s funding goes to those seeking degrees in four fields: humanities, social sciences, liberal arts, and law. Our main intention is to support and encourage Muslim students to become future lawyers, politicians, journalists, filmmakers, and academicians that properly represent Islam and Muslims in the US. We are trying to increase the number of Muslim students who are graduating in ISF supported field of study and increase the number of Muslims obtaining jobs in public policy and public opinion-shaping professions. Islamic Scholarship Fund (ISF) Amount
The scholarships range from $2,000 to $10,000, depending on available money and each student’s level of achievement. Here are a few of the individual awards:
The ISF National Scholarships require that you meet a few basic standards (U. S. citizenship or legal permanent residence, enrolled at an accredited American school, GPA of at least 3.0, and so on). These awards go to students not eligible for the community or alumni scholarships.
The ISF-Yaseen Foundation Scholarship is for students who belong to the Muslim community of Belmont, California, and there is a similar scholarship for the area served by the Ehsan Center of Canoga Park.
There are Alumni scholarships available for students at three schools in the University of California system (Los Angeles, Berkeley, and Irvine).
Islamic Scholarship Fund (ISF) Application deadline
The Islamic Scholarship Fund providing an award to most deserving students after evaluating the academic performance and financial needs. The application form will be available in the scholarship website before submitting the application make sure all the details are up to date and error free
The last date is to submit the application is April 1, 2019
The applicant must be a citizen or an eligible noncitizen of the United States.
The applicant must be a Muslim or an active member of the community.
The applicant must be enrolled in an accredited university or college.
The applicant must be pursuing a major related to ISF.
The applicant must have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
The applicant must be a junior or senior undergraduate or graduate degree student.
