About the Scholarship

James B. Simpson Fellowship is accredited by the American University. American University is a student-centered research institution located in Washington. 

The James B. Simpson Fellowship was established in 2006 to provide financial assistance to a graduate student in journalism, preferably a student in print journalism, and/or a faculty member in the School of Communication to research and gather materials in the literature of contemporary quotations.


What are the requirements needed while applying for this scholarship?

  • Students must submit a brief statement of two pages or less describing their qualifications for performing the work and any ideas/suggestions you have for improving the site.

  • The candidates are educated to present their Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) application to get this award.

  • Candidates must submit an essay to meet eligibility.
