About the Scholarship
James B. Simpson Fellowship is recognized and is sponsored by the American University. American University is a student-centered research institution located in Washington. The financial aid department of the university is committed to providing necessary financial assistance to students who are struggling to pay for their education.
The James B. Simpson Fellowship was established in the year 2006 to provide financial assistance to a graduate student in journalism, preferably a student in print journalism, and/or a faculty member in the School of Communication to research and gather materials in the literature of contemporary quotations.
How to apply for this scholarship?
Students must submit a brief statement of two pages or less describing their qualifications for performing the work and any ideas/suggestions you have for improving the site.
The candidates are educated to present their Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) application to determine his/her family's financial position to pay for the education.
Candidates must submit an essay to meet and fulfill the eligibility criteria.
Scholarship Award Amount
This scholarship award amount varies each year depending on the availability of funds and the awards are non-renewable.
The total number of awards offered through this scholarship varies annually based on the total number of applications received.
All the necessary documents and application forms must be sent to the financial aid division of the university on or before February 01, 2020. Students are advised to keep track of the deadline and sent the documents in advance as any document submitted post deadline will be rejected.
An applicant must be accepted to the MA in Political Communication program.
A candidate must be enrolled as a full-time student in an accredited university or a college.
A student must be a citizen or a permanent resident of the United States.
