About the Scholarship
Jim Baird Memorial Scholarship is sponsored by the Ohio State University.
The foundation was created to seek opportunities for people to explore how science-based knowledge can improve social, economic and environmental conditions.
Jim Baird Memorial Scholarship shall be awarded to deserving Ashtabula County student from a commercial dairy farm family.
How to apply for this scholarship?
A student must submit the filled FAFSA application form and an essay about a student's interest and career goals.
College students are reminded that both high school and college transcripts are required along with ACT/SAT scorecards to be eligible for the scholarship.
Two letters of recommendation must be submitted before the deadline with one photo of the candidate to be used for publicity purposes only.
This scholarship provides $500 each year which is non-renewable.
The total number of awards offered by this scholarship varies depending on the availability of funds and total number of applications received.
All the required documents along with the application form must be submitted to the financial aid division of the organization no later than May 01, 2020. A student is advised to submit all their documents before the deadline to be one of the eligible applicants.
The applicant must be enrolled in an accredited 2-year or 4-year institution or technical institute.
An applicant must be a graduate or undergraduate student from Ashtabula County.
