About the Scholarship
John Deere Dealer Scholarship Program is accredited and is produced by the National Future Farmers of America (FFA) Organization.
John Deere Dealer Scholarship Program is awarded to one candidate who is enrolled in a postsecondary institution. The scholarship award process is automated. Scholarship recipients are selected based on individual applications meeting eligibility and sponsor criteria requirements.
What are the requirements needed?
Students are required to submit their ACT/SAT score-cards while applying for this scholarship to demonstrate their excellence in academics.
An essay of 1000 words or less is to be submitted by the students.
A statement of 1000 words or less must be submitted describing why the candidate must be awarded for this scholarship.
Candidates must also complete the financial analysis section of the application.
The candidates are also instructed to provide their Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) application to demonstrate his/her family's financial position to pay for their education.
What is the Scholarship Award Amount
This scholarship award amounts to $2000 annually which is non-renewable, the awards are to be used for tuition, fees, books, and equipment required for classes.
The total number of awards offered through this scholarship is limited to 150 candidates each academic year based on the availability of funds and number of applications received.
All the necessary documents and application forms must be sent to the financial aid department of the organization no later than February 06, 2020.
Students are advised to keep track of the deadline dates and send their application form before the deadline to avoid their form getting rejected.
A candidate must be a high school senior or current undergraduate student.
An applicant must be a member of FFA and be enrolled full-time in any recognized college or a university.
Must be less than 23 years of age at the time of application.
A recipient must demonstrate leadership activities and community-service involvement.
To be eligible for this scholarship, a student must have a grade point average of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale.
