About the Scholarship
The Kentucky Educational Excellence Scholarship (KEES) is awarded by KHEAA to the student who performs well and must stand exceptional in academics. A student must study at an accredited Kentucky High School and must have earned at least 2.5 Grade Point Average. The scholarship is awarded based on the student's performance at college. The awards are given for ACT/SAT scores and Advanced Placement (AP), International Baccalaureate (IB) or Cambridge Advanced International (CAI) test scores. And the Home school and GED graduates may get the awards based on their ACT scores.
How to Apply for Scholarship?
In order to apply for this grant, an applicant must fill and submit a FAFSA application form.
After the completion of the FAFSA form, Student Aid Report will be generated. Which illustrates an applicant's financial information. Based on that, the Financial Aid Office will assist the students.
Students must demonstrate their academic performance through the submission of ACT/SAT scorecards.
The Organization awards $1000 to the students who qualify for this fund. The awards are renewable up to 3 additional years.
A Student should study in a certified Kentucky high school.
Students should have at least a 2.5 GPA each year.
Students may also earn awards for ACT/SAT scores and Advanced Placement (AP), International Baccalaureate (IB) or Cambridge Advanced International (CAI) test scores.
