About the Scholarship
Kevin Thompson Scholarship Fund is licensed by The Anniston Community Education Foundation (ACEF). The foundation is a public charity that provides funding to 501 © 3 and Public/Municipal organizations and need-based educational services to the children in the targeted communities.
The Kevin Thompson Fund is a need-based scholarship available to graduating seniors from Anniston and Wellborn High Schools. Those students who wish to further their education in Music or Education. Participation in ACEF's Youth Coalition will also be considered.
How to apply for this scholarship grant?
The candidates are educated to present their Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) application to get this award.
Applicant must demonstrate community involvement: seniors must be able to show at least 20 hours of community service over their time in high school while returning applicants must have 40 hours over the previous year.
Students applying for this grant must submit an essay as described on the application form.

This scholarship provides $2000 each year which is non-renewable.
The total number of awards offered by this scholarship varies based on the students maintaining their academic progress.
The applications are to be presented before the end of March 15, 2020. Understudies are informed to present their grant application, and other requirements are to be submitted before the due date. Applicant must be a graduating high school senior or returning scholarship recipient.
Must attend Anniston or Wellborn High School.
Must have at least 2.0 GPA.
Must plan to pursue or be pursuing a major in Music or Education.
