About the Scholarship
The California Landscape Contractors Association Auxiliary has awarded the students who major in landscape related programs at an accredited California community college or state university since 1972. In the year 1988, the Landscape Educational Advancement Foundation (LEAF) has started this financial aid to assist deserving students financially.
The Scholarship Committee considers career goals, extracurricular activity, work experience, of a student to award the scholarship. In addition to that, it will also check for the financial need of a student to pursue academic study. An applicant must also provide a letter of recommendation from his/her college.
Award Amount and Deadline:
The Foundation provides $1300 to any number of applicants. The award is non-renewable.
All applicants need to apply for this scholarship before April 15th.
A student must be majoring in a landscape
-related program and
A student should take at least six credits.
Students must attend college.
Eligibility Criteria also includes career goals, extracurricular activity, work experience, financial need, and letters of recommendation.
