About the Scholarship

The Elks National Foundation approves the Legacy Award Scholarship. The establishment was shaped on February 16, 1868, under the name "Jolly Corks", the association was begun "to advance and practice the four cardinal ideals of Charity, Justice, Brotherly Love and Fidelity; to advance the welfare and upgrade the happiness of its individuals; to quicken the spirit of American Patriotism and develop great fellowship." 

Legacy Award Scholarship is provided to the child or grandchild of a living Elk.


How can candidates apply for this scholarship

  • Candidates must complete and submit the ONLINE application.

  • Candidates must submit their ACT/SAT scorecard while applying for this grant.

  • The candidates are instructed to exhibit their Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) application to get this honor.

  • A current official transcripts are to be submitted by the candidates to meet the eligibility.


Legacy Award Scholarship award amounts to

  • This scholarship provides $1000 annually which is renewable for up to 3 additional years.

  • The total number of awards offered by this scholarship is limited to 250 candidates each year based on the students meeting their requirements and depending on the availability of funds.


Deadline info

The applications are to be exhibited before the finish of February 02, 2020. Understudies are educated to display their award application, and different necessities are to be submitted before the due date. Applications and other data are open online on The Elks National Foundation website.
