About the Scholarship

The students who are high school graduates or equivalent enrolled in the University of North Carolina at Charlotte is provided financial assistance through scholarship programs.

The academically bright students are awarded the Levine Scholars Program based on the nominations of the high school teachers, counselors or the teacher of home-schooled students.

The scholarship program helps and supports students enrolled in the university to pursue higher education with ease.

Levine Scholars Program Awards

  • The university provides scholarship programs to almost 20 eligible students every year.

  • The scholarship is available to students for four-years until the completion of an undergraduate degree.

  • The students who are residents of the state of North Carolina are awarded an amount of $105,000.

  • The out-state students receive an amount of $155,000 for four years.

  • The scholarship amount can be used to fund tuition and fees, board, room, and other benefits and programs.

Levine Scholars Program Application

  • The students must be high school graduates enrolled in an undergraduate degree program in the UNC at Charlotte.

  • The recipients of the scholarship program are selected based on the eligibility criteria and nominations received.

  • The students must receive nominations in order to be eligible for applying for the scholarship.

  • The individuals nominating the students must submit the nomination letters on the online portal of the university.

  • The applicants and nominees are advised to go through the guidelines given thoroughly.

  • The applicant must complete the application form available on the official website of the university by creating an account on the student portal.

  • The student must attach the required documents to the application at the time of admission.

  • The letters of recommendation must be submitted on time to the financial aid office of the university.

Levine Scholars Program Application Deadline

The applications and required elements must be submitted to the financial aid office by November 1st without fail.

Any applications or required materials received past the deadline will be considered invalid.

Eligibility Criteria

  • The student must be enrolled in a baccalaureate program at UNC Charlotte.

  • The applicants must be a citizen of the U.S or permanent resident.

  • The applicant must be excellent in academics.
