About the Scholarship

Liberty University licenses the Liberty Scholars Grant Program. Freedom University is a Christian scholastic network in the convention of evangelical organizations of advanced education which was set up in the year 1971. 

Through its private and online projects, administrations, offices, and coordinated efforts, the University teaches people who will cause significant commitments to their work environments and networks, to pursue their picked occupations as reasons for living to laud God and satisfy the Great Commission. 

Liberty Scholars Grant Program is a need-based award.

How to apply for this scholarship grant?

  • The understudies applying for this grant must present a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) application every year. 

  • The student should demonstrate financial need.

  • Must borrow full Subsidized Federal Direct Student Loan.

  • Must maintain financial aid satisfactory academic progress while enrolled at Liberty.

Liberty Supplemental Grant amounts to

  • This grant provides $1200 to $2200 based on Expected Family Contribution (EFC).

  • The number of grants offered each year varies depending on the availability of funds.


The applications are to be introduced before the finish of December 01, 2020. Understudies are educated to show their award application, and different necessities are to be submitted before the due date. Applications and other information are available online on the Liberty University website.

Eligibility Criteria

  • The applicant must be a new resident full-time undergraduate degree-seeking student.

  • The applicant must be beginning first-time enrollment on or after the Fall semester.

  • The student must be eligible for and awarded the Liberty Academic Scholarship.
