About the Scholarship
Mark P. Tiner Scholarship is started by Sean Tiner in the honor of his brother's ambition to pursue higher education. The Orange County Community Foundation is awarding this scholarship to help the students financially to enroll in an undergraduate degree program. The scholarship reduces the student's burden to pay for their education.
The scholarship encourages students involved in various activities from sports to community services. The award is given in areas like visual arts, performing arts athletics, and community involvement. Through this award, the community helps to identify academic excellence and promotes higher education in the institution.
