About the Scholarship
The main motive behind the Mary E. Bivins Foundation Religious Scholarship Program is to educate ministers to preach the Christian religion. The scholarship is available for U.G or graduates education leading to a Bachelors's or Master's Degree in a field that prepares the student to preach the Christian religion. Preference will be given to the students who intend to serve as pastors upon graduation. Scholarship awards are to be used to cover tuition, books, and other expenses.
How to Apply for Scholarship?
To apply for this scholarship, you must complete the online scholarship application form which is available on the scholarship provider website.
You must submit the official high school transcript with rank and ACT/SAT GPA scorecards to determine academic excellence.
All selected students are required to participate in a personal interview with the Scholarship Interview Advisory Committee.
Award Amount and Deadline:
Scholarship awards are $2,500 per semester for undergraduate students classified as a Junior or Senior and $3,500 per semester for Graduate students per academic year.
The deadline date for this scholarship is 5th January 2019. You must apply for this scholarship and submit all transcripts before the last given date.
The applicant must be an upper-level undergraduate or graduate student.
The applicant must be pursuing an education leading to a bachelor's or master's degree in a field that prepares the student to preach the Christian religion.
The applicant must be intending to serve as pulpit pastors upon graduation.
The applicant must have a minimum 2.75 GPA.
