About the Scholarship
The scholarship is awarded to the Children who have lost a parent or had a parent seriously injured in an air medical or critical care ground transport accident are eligible for financial assistance through the MedEvac Foundation International’s Children’s Scholarship Fund. An award is given to a deserving student entering or enrolled in college, university or vocational-technical school. Applicants will be evaluated according to academic achievement, financial need and community service.
How to Apply for this Fund?
A student must complete and submit the scholarship application which is available online at the official website in order to apply for this fund.
In addition to the completed application, a student must provide necessary documents to the financial aid division of the MedEvac Foundation.
A student must give an official scorecard of the ACT/SAT exam to demonstrate academic standing, and he/she must also determine participation in the community activities.
The scholarship funding considers financial need students, hence all applicants who are under greater financial need can apply for this award by demonstrating financial assistance.
Award Amount and Deadline:
The Foundation will award two scholarships of $5,000 for one child who has lost a parent in an air medical transport accident and another one for a child who has lost a parent in a critical care ground transport accident.
The scholarship deadline is on 31st July 2019, hence all applicants must apply for this scholarship before the deadline.
The scholarship is available to students who have lost a parent or had a parent injured in an air medical or critical care ground transport.
The applicant must be enrolled in an accredited institution.
Be enrolled or accepted into an accredited college, university or vocational-technical school. An applicant must be a dependent and/or an immediate relative of a medical transport crewmember that lost their life due to an air medical or critical care transport accident.
