ACT is a standardized test that is used by many colleges for admissions in the United States. It is a nonprofit organization and currently is administered by ACT. The exam will be in the form of a multiple-choice format. This test covers four academic skill areas: English, Mathematics, Reading, and Science reasoning.

Important points 

  • Maximum Score‎: ‎36

  • Duration: ‎2 hrs 55 minutes and an additional 40 minutes will be given if the student is taking the test including writing.

  • ACT Cost‎: ‎$50.50 and $67 if taking it with writing.

As the name itself indicates, these are the scholarships given to students who have scored well in the ACT test. The ACT scholarships you qualify for will be dependent on your score but it is important to know that you don’t need a perfect score to be eligible for this scholarship. But what is considered to be a good ACT score to receive this scholarship? 

So here is your answer- There are many scholarships under this category and they all have different eligibility requirements. Some scholarships will give you money for a low-20s ACT score. Others might require a minimum of 25 or higher. More competitive scholarships may ask for a 29, 30, 32, and so on.

  • You can make a list of schools you plan to apply to.

  • You can check if the colleges you are planning to join has something called Merit Scholarships or College Scholarships.

  • There will almost certainly be a link on your chosen college page to scholarship information. If the college has ACT scholarships available, you’ll be able to find your way to them from there.

  • There are many ACT scholarships. Make a list consisting of the requirements demanded by the college or an organization for each ACT scholarship.

  • Then prioritize them based either on how much you need to do or how excited you are about the college. 

  • Achieve all the necessary requirements.
