Mildred Culbert Kelly & Fred W. Kelly Non-Traditional Student Scholarship

Mildred Culbert kelly and Fred W. They always want to help those children who are very good at academic but because of the financial issue, they can not pursue higher education. they never have children but their main mission in life to help children.

This scholarship is applicable to church and community groups students. Prior  to his passing in 1989, Mr. Kelly had been utilized as a protection specialist and later acquired the Wheeler Insurance Agency which he owned and worked until his retirement in 1977

Mrs. Kelly resigned from the Accounting Department at Chevrolet Saginaw Gray Iron Foundry following 39 years of administration. She volunteered at First United Methodist Church as the executive of the Children's Choir, the Interpretive Choir and the Sacred Dance Group for a long time. She was additionally a volunteer at reading Saginaw and Delta College Channel 19 and was a past leader of the Opti-Mrs. Club. She passed on in 2000 at 94 years old.

The evaluation will be done based on the different criteria -

Eligibility Criteria

  • The applicant must be a non-traditional, adult student.

  • The applicant must be pursuing an undergraduate or vocational degree.

  • The applicant must be a resident of Saginaw County.
