About the Scholarship

MillerCoors Chicago Scholarship is authorized and is provided by the Adelante. U.S. Education Leadership Fund. The foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to Hispanic college students. 

MillerCoors Chicago Scholarship is provided to Hispanic descent who is a junior or senior college student at a Chicago University. Preference given to business, computer science, biochemistry, and engineering majors.


What is the application process?

  • Students must submit their letter of recommendation highlighting their leadership qualities within the community.

  • Applicants are required to submit their proof of enrollment and a letter of acceptance.

  • Students must demonstrate their financial needs.

  • The understudies applying for this honor must present a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) application form to determine his/her family's financial position to pay for their education.


Scholarship Award Amount

  • This scholarship provides $3000 annually which is non-renewable.

  • The total number of awards offered by this scholarship is limited to one candidate each year based on the students meeting their requirements and applications received.


Deadline Information

The applications are to be presented before the end of May 30, 2020. Understudies are advised to present their grant application to the concerned department to avail of the scholarship benefits. Any application sent post-May will be disqualified.


Eligibility Criteria

  • An applicant must be a legally recognized U.S. citizen.

  • A student must be exceptional at their academics and maintain a minimum of 3.0 GPA out of 4.

  • Application preference is given to business, computer science, biochemistry, and engineering majors.
