About the Scholarship
Mills Fleet Farm Scholarship is certified and is sponsored by the National Future Farmers of America (FFA) Organization.
FFA was begun as a unique youth association that changes lives and gets ready individuals for chief authority, self-awareness, and vocation accomplishment through horticultural instruction.
Mills Fleet Farm Scholarship is granted to one competitor who is taken on a postsecondary foundation.
Students are required to submit their official ACT/SAT score-cards while applying for this scholarship to prove they are exceptional at their academics to receive the award amount.
An essay of 1000 words or less describing why a candidate must be awarded for this scholarship must be submitted by the students.
Students must also complete the financial analysis section of the application.
The candidates are instructed to send their Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) application to determine his/her family's financial position to receive the scholarship award amount.
Scholarship Award Amount
- This scholarship award amounts to $1000 annually which is non-renewable, the awards are to be used for tuition, fees, books, and equipment required for classes.
- The total number of scholarships provided through this award is limited to 6 deserving candidates each academic year based on the availability of funds and the total number of applications received.
All the applications are to be provided to the financial aid department of the organization no later than February 06, 2020. Any delay in submitting the documents would lead to disqualification.
A candidate must be a member of FFA and a legally recognized resident of the United States.
An applicant must be a high school senior at the time of application.
To be eligible for the scholarship, a recipient must have a grade point average of 3.0 or above.
A student must be planning to enroll as a full-time student in any recognized institution.
