About the Scholarship

This NABA Jacksonville Chapter Scholarship is given by the organization American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). This award will be presented at the Spring Awards Banquet in Jacksonville, Florida.


How to apply for the Scholarship?

Applications are available online on the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) website.

The student must have to be a paid student member of NABA at the time of application AND at the time awards are distributed.

The student has to submit a current Academic Transcript. The student has to submit a clear copy of Student/Permanent Resident Visa (if the applicant is not a United States citizen).

The student has to submit a Current Resume.

The student has to submit a Recommendation letter from either a member of the accounting/business faculty at his/her college/university or from a non-relative who is familiar with your academic and/or professional performance.


The awarded amount for the Scholarship:

The award amount for this scholarship is $1000 per year. This scholarship is non-renewable.


 Deadline for the Scholarship:

The deadline for this Scholarship is the 25th of March.


Eligibility Criteria

  • An applicant in first must have finished the NABA Jacksonville Chapter Scholarship application with the letter of recommendation is required.

  • A student must meet the minimum required grade point average of 3.0 out of 4 to be eligible for the scholarship.

  • An unofficial transcript must be submitted with the application. If selected, a recipient has to produce official records before they receive the funds.
