About the Scholarship
NACME is the largest provider of college scholarships for underrepresented minorities pursuing degrees at schools of engineering. To enrich society with an American workforce that champions diversity in STEM by increasing the number of underrepresented minorities in engineering and computer science.
NACME is intended to provide scholarships, resources, and opportunities for high-achieving, underrepresented minority college students who pursue careers in engineering and computer science.
How to Apply for Scholarship?
To apply for this scholarship, you must complete the online scholarship application form which is available on the scholarship provider website.
You must submit the official high school transcript with rank and ACT/SAT GPA scorecards to determine academic excellence.
In addition to that, you must submit a current official transcript of your college or the institution to the respective financial aid department.
Award Amount and Deadline:
The scholarship's award amount varies by partnership institution but are typically between $1,500 - $4,000 funded annually.
The deadline date for this scholarship is 1st December 2019. During the submission of the application form, please make sure that all the above documents must be submitted.
The applicant must be a high school senior.
The applicant must be enrolled in an accredited College of Engineering.
The applicant must have a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or better.
The applicant who is currently enrolled must have completed a calculus, physics, or chemistry course, earning at least a “B,” and be accepted into engineering.
The applicant must be a two-year community college transfer, i.e., accepted for the third year of engineering study, must enter with at least a 2.7 cumulative GPA on a scale of a 4.0.
The applicant must be enrolled for an Associate Degree in engineering science or an equivalent program of study.
