About the Scholarship

The Naugatuck Valley Medical Scholarship Fund (NVMSF) is a reserve committed to monetarily helping to graduate secondary school candidates who intend to study a restorative or biomedical field. The NVMSF stretches out grants to understudies in the lower Naugatuck Valley region of Connecticut, which is comprised of the towns of Ansonia, Derby, Seymour, Shelton, Oxford, and Beacon Falls.

Eligibility Criteria

  • The applicant must be a good standing NUAS member or the spouse or child of a NUAS member.

  • The applicant must be a high school senior graduate.

  • The applicant must be enrolled in an accredited university or college for an undergraduate degree program or a certificate-granting program as a full-time or part-time student.

  • The applicant must have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or better if a high school student and 2.5 if enrolled in college.
