About the Scholarship
High school students of New Jersey who are interested in the fields related water utility industry are offered the NAWC New Jersey Chapter Scholarship in order to support them financially while receiving a postsecondary education.
The New Jersey Chapter of the National Association of Water Companies (NAWC) provides scholarships to students who are enrolled in an accredited university or college in the state of New Jersey.
NAWC New Jersey Chapter Scholarship Awards
The eligible recipients of the scholarship receive an amount of $2500 that can be used to fund the tuition and fees and other college costs while pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree.
NAWC New Jersey Chapter Scholarship Application Requirements
The applicants are awarded the scholarship based on eligibility criteria as enlisted below:
The student must have enrolled in a university or college accredited by the U.S. Department of Education, in the state of New Jersey.
The applicant must be a high school graduate who is enrolled for an undergraduate or graduate program as a full-time or half-time student.
The applicant must be a citizen of the U.S. and must have been permanently residing in New Jersey State for more than 5 years.
The student must maintain a GPA of 3.0 on 4.

The applicant’s name must be mentioned in every attachment.
NAWC New Jersey Chapter Scholarship Application Deadline
The application must be postmarked and sent via mail by 1st April and the supporting documents by 10th April without fail. Submission of application or the documents past the deadline is not valid.
Applicant should be a U.S citizen
Applicant should be a resident of New Jersey or has lived in the state for at least 5 years
Applicant should be a high school senior or enrolled in a university
- Applicant must have a minimum GPA of 3.0
