About the Scholarship
The scholarship is awarded by the Northeastern University. This grant provides doctoral candidates close to completing their dissertation with the financial support needed to spend their final semester writing. This award must be used during the semester for which it is awarded and may not be deferred. The fellowships will be awarded on a competitive basis.
How to apply for the scholarship?
The applicant should complete the application which can be found on the site.
Along with the application, the applicant should submit a resume, a recommendation letter from the dissertation advisor that describes the importance of the work and indicates when the dissertation will be completed, and FAFSA.
How much the scholarship award amounts to?
The award covers one semester of stipend, tuition, and health insurance.
The amount may vary depending on the student's field of study.
One or more fellowships will be offered each year.
The deadline date is set for June 1
The applicant must be currently enrolled in a Ph.D. program for at least 4 years
He/she must be attending Northeastern University
