About the Scholarship
The NURSE Corps Scholarship Program provides financial aid for those students who are pursuing a diploma, associate, baccalaureate, or graduate degree in nursing education.
The program offers the scholarship to nursing students in exchange for a minimum two-year full-time service commitment to work at an eligible Critical Shortage Facility (CSF), that is, health care facility having a critical shortage of nurses.
The recipients would have to join the facility soon after completing their graduation. The NURSE Corps Scholarship Program hopes for the awardees to continue their service at the CSF even after their service commitment is fulfilled.
The NURSE Corps Scholarship Program (NCSP) is administered by the Health Resources and Services Administration with a mission to improve the health of the vulnerable populations or communities by strengthening the workforce in health services and connecting them to those in need.
