About the Scholarship

O.D. Roberts Memorial Scholarship is awarded by the Kappa Delta Rho Foundation. The foundation is a non-profit charitable organization that was started to financially support the educational leadership, and character development programs undertaken by the National Fraternity of Kappa Delta Rho.

The O. D. Roberts Memorial Scholarship is named for O.D. Roberts, Eta ’36, who was Dean of Men at Purdue University, and a past National President of KDR.

What are the requirements needed while applying for this scholarship?

  • Students are informed to submit three pages of essay.

  • Students must demonstrate leadership activities, community service, and fraternity service.

  • A most recent copy of transcript and grade points is to be submitted by the students applying for this scholarship.

  • The candidates are instructed to exhibit their Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) application to get this honor.

O.D. Roberts Memorial Scholarship award amounts to

  • This scholarship provides $550 annually but the awards issued by this scholarship is non-renewable.

  • The total number of awards offered by this scholarship is limited to one candidate each year depending on the availability of funds and students meeting their requirements.

Deadline info

The applications are to be exhibited before the finish of June 15, 2020. Understudies are educated to display their award application, and different necessities are to be submitted before the due date. Applications and other data are open online on the Kappa Delta Rho Foundation website.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Applicants must be a male candidate.

  • Candidate must be a current active member of Kappa Delta Rho.

  • This award is for international and U.S. students.

  • Must have earned a 'B' average for all academic work completed at the time of application.
