About the Scholarship

Oregon Community Quarterback Scholarship is accredited by Harrington Family Foundation to students who show notable participation and leadership qualities in the community service. The high school students who are enrolled or planning to enroll in a university or college for postsecondary education are awarded the Oregon Community Quarterback Scholarship.

Award Amount

  • The organization provides scholarship programs to four eligible applicants based on community service and leadership qualities.

  • An amount of $4000 is awarded to each student split into two semesters. The scholarship amount is used to fund the tuition and fees of the college.

  • The scholarship can be renewed by the student on reapplying.

Scholarship Application

  • The scholarship is need-based financial aid. Recipients of the scholarship are selected based on the participation of the applicants in community service. The academic records of the students are not considered.

  • The students are expected to fill in with correct details and submit the application form available on the official website of the organization along with the required documents as per the guidelines mentioned.

Application Deadline Information

The application process for the scholarship will commence on 1st September 2019. The last date of application will be announced on the official website. Students are expected to apply at the earliest with all the necessary documents.

Eligibility Criteria

  • The student has to be a U.S. citizen or an eligible noncitizen.

  • The applicant must be a resident of Oregon.

  • A candidate must demonstrate their excellence in the academics and need for financial assistance.
