About the Scholarship
The Pennsylvania Higher Education Assistance Agency (PHEAA) was established in 1963 by the Pennsylvania General Assembly as one of the leading student aid organization in the nation. Today PHEAA is very well structured national financial aid services provider which is serving millions of students and thousands of schools through its guaranteed loan services and other financial assistance.
PHEAA utilize its income in support to its social service program and to reimburse its managing costs, including the operation of the Pennsylvania State Grant and other state-assisted student helping scheme. PHEAA continues to boost its energy, capital, and creative power to expanding unconventional ways to make financial burden easy, to get higher academic qualification for students, families, schools, and taxpayers. PHEAA supervise its student loan programs nationally as American Education Services (AES) and Fed Loan Servicing.
The applicant must be a Pennsylvania resident.
The applicant should be 25 years old or younger at the time of application.
The applicant should be the birth child or adopted of a deceased firefighter, corrections facility employee, rescue or ambulance squad member, or active National Guard member, rescue or ambulance squad member, the police officer died on January 1st, 1976 while performing their duty.
The applicant should be the birth child or adopted child of a sheriff, deputy sheriff, National Gaurd members or certain other individuals who was on federal or state active military duty who died since September 11, 2001, while performing their official duties.
