About the Scholarship
The scholarship is awarded by the Department of Higher Education and Workforce Development. This program provides tuition assistance to certain public employees and their families if the employee is killed or permanently and totally disabled in the line of duty.
How to apply for the scholarship?
The applicant should complete the application which is available on the DHEWD site.
The application, academic transcripts, and FAFSA should be submitted to the Missouri Department of Higher Education and Workforce Department
There is no deadline for submission, but early submissions are recommended.
How much the scholarship award amounts to?
The award amount will be lesser than the actual tuition for 12 credit hours or the amount of tuition for 12 credit hours to an undergraduate Missouri resident in the same class in the same academic major
The award is renewable.
An applicant must be a legal resident of Missouri and the United States.
A student applying must be pursuing a degree or a certificate in the field of theology or divinity.
A student must have satisfactory previous academic records.
Must be less than 24 years of age.
