About the Scholarship
The Quad City Engineering and Science Council with its member societies, local businesses, and regional universities have annually provided this scholarship since 1994 to high school seniors studying STEM at an accredited four-year college or institution. Applicants must be a Quad City area resident in the Illinois Counties. To promote and encourage engineering, science, and technical professionals and associated societies in Quad City Region and to encourage and support students to study in STEM-related fields this opportunity is established.
How to Apply for Scholarship?
In order to apply for this scholarship, all eligible candidates must fill and submit the scholarship application form which is available on the official website.
A student must demonstrate the academic record that he/she has secured.
A student must provide official transcripts where he or she is studying in.
In addition to that, a candidate must submit the letters of recommendation from his or her faculty member.
Award Amount and Deadline:
The scholarship award amount is $3000 available to one eligible applicant annually.
The deadline date for this scholarship is 27th January 2020. The scholarship application and the official transcripts must be postmarked by the given deadline.
The applicant must be a high school senior.
The applicant must be a resident of Mercer, Rock Island, Henry, Whiteside, Carroll, Knox, Lee, Clinton, Scott, Muscatine, or Louisa County.
The applicant must plan to study STEM-related degree (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) at an accredited four-year college or university.
