About the Scholarship

The students who are enrolled or planning to enroll in an accredited university or college to pursue a degree with major in the field of Cybersecurity or Information Security are awarded financial assistance through the Raytheon's Women Cybersecurity Scholarship Program in order to encourage and improve the cyber talent across the world.

The scholarship program is administered and awarded by the Center for Cyber Safety and Education funded by the member companies of the organization to the participants of the National Collegiate Cyber Defence Competition.


Raytheon's Women Cybersecurity Scholarship Program Awards

  • The scholarship program awards 2 female students who are participants of the Competition.

  • The recipients of the scholarship are given an amount of $10,000 each.

  • The scholarship fund can be used towards paying the tuition and fees, and books only and will be directly sent to the educational institution.

  • The students are provided other facilities like seminars, books, internship opportunities and so on, along with the financial assistance.


Raytheon's Women Cybersecurity Scholarship Program Application

The scholarship recipients are selected by the selection committee based on the eligibility criteria and the financial need demonstrated.

The students must submit the following documents in order to be the recipients of the scholarship awards:

  • The application form that is available on the official website of the organization must be completed with accurate details.

  • Unofficial transcripts from the recent or current educational institution.

  • One letter of recommendation based on the factors given by the organization.

  • A resume or curriculum vitae of the applicant.

  • A statement of purpose of not more than 2 pages as per the guidelines as per given.

The applicants must go through the instructions and rules given before applying for the scholarship program.


Raytheon's Women Cybersecurity Scholarship Program Application Deadline

The application process will be closed by 15th April. The applicants are expected to submit the applications on time. No applications will be accepted past the deadline.


Eligibility Criteria

  • The applicant must be a U.S. Citizen.

  • The applicant must be pursuing a degree in cybersecurity or information security.

  • The student must have a cumulative GPA of 3.30 or more.

  • The student may be attending on campus or online.

  • The student may be attending as full-time or part-time.
