About the Scholarship

Scholastic Art & Writing Award is accredited by the Alliance for Young Artists & Writers. The foundation is a non-profit organization whose mission is to identify students with exceptional artistic and literary talent and present their remarkable work to the world through the Scholastic Art & Writing Awards.

Scholastic Art & Writing Award was started in 1923, it provides an opportunity to the students in grades 7–12, age 13 years or older.


How to apply for this scholarship?

  • Students must first register an online account to participate in The Scholastic Art & Writing Awards.

  • Applicants must demonstrate their information about the work they are entering to obtain submission forms.

  • Students must also include a $7 submission fee for individual submissions and a $25 submission fee for all portfolio submissions

  • The candidates are instructed to exhibit their Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) application to get this honor.


Scholastic Art & Writing Award amounts to

  • This scholarship provides $10000 annually which is non-renewable.

  • the total number of awards offered by this scholarship varies each year based on the availability of funds and students meeting their requirements.


Deadline information

The applications are to be exhibited before the finish of December 01, 2020. Understudies are educated to display their award application, and different necessities are to be submitted before the due date. Applications and other data are open online on the Alliance for Young Artists & Writers website.

 

Eligibility Criteria

  • Must be in grades seven through twelve.

  • Must have an interest in writing or art.

  • This award is for international and U.S. students.

  • This award is for U.S. and Canadian students.
