Stephen Phillips Memorial Scholarship Fund is recognized and is sponsored by the Stephen Phillips Memorial Scholarship Fund, Inc. The organization was begun to movie everyone to progress in the direction of a common vision. People who are civic-minded with integrity, initiative, decisiveness, and a sense of purpose

The Stephen Phillips Memorial Scholarship Fund offers sustainable, four-year grants to understudies with monetary needs who show academic accomplishment, a promise to serving others (in school, their locale, or at home), a solid hard-working attitude, and leadership characteristics.


How to apply for this scholarship grant?

  • Applicants must submit their official high school transcript, along with their senior grades to prove their excellence in academics and be eligible for the scholarship.

  • A Letter of recommendation must be submitted in a written format for the college admission office before the mentioned date.

  • Students must submit their college academic recommendation form to receive this award.

  • Candidates must also provide their Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) application form to determine his/her family's financial status to pay for the education.


Scholarship Amount and Deadline

  • This scholarship award ranges from $3000 to $15000 which is renewable for up to 4 years.

  • The total number of awards offered by this scholarship varies depending on the availability of funds and total number of applications received for the current academic year.

The applications are to be presented to the respective department on or before the end of April 01, 2020. Understudies are informed to present their grant application and other requirements are to be submitted before the due date to be among the list of eligible students to receive award amount.


Eligibility Criteria

  • An applicant must be an entering or returning student in an accredited U.S. university or college as a full-time student.

  • The applicant must be enrolled for a bachelor's degree for the first time or be enrolled in a five-year or more program graduating with a master's degree.

  • To be eligible for the scholarship, a student must be a U.S. citizen or an eligible non-US citizen with exceptional writing skills.

  • The applicant must be a permanent resident of one of the New England states including Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island or Vermont.

  • Candidates must have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher out of 4.
