About the Scholarship
Stim Bullitt Civic Courage Scholarship
This scholarship is provided by the Seattle Public Library Foundation. This program is applicable for undergraduate and senior students who are from Seattle schools.
Candidates have to write an essay and they need to describe importance to the community and why they want to choose this scholarship, how it will affect their future goals.
The essay must be -
Students have to write an essay which includes at least from three sources one is from the primary.
The student must use the standard format for the bibliography.
The essay should not exceed 1,500 - 2,000 words.
Students must use double-spaced.
This scholarship provides 2 awards for one position and the second position, $5,000 for who got 1st rank and $2,500 for the one who got the 2nd position.
The review panel will determine the final students who are eligible for this program.
Candidate should be resident of Seattle and should have studied and worked from Seattle.
Candidate should be 13 years of age or older.
Candidate should have active Seattle public library card.
Candidate should be either a high school senior or undergraduate registered for 2-year or 4-year college program.
