About the Scholarship

Texas Instruments Scholarship was started to provide financial assistance to high school seniors intent on pursuing a degree related to science, technology, engineering, or mathematics in college.

What are the requirements needed while applying for this scholarship?

  • Students must submit a letter of recommendation at least one from a teacher.

  • Students are required to demonstrate financial need to meet eligibility.

  • The candidates are educated to present their Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) application to get this award.

  • Applicants must submit an essay of 500 words or less as described in the application form.

Texas Instruments Scholarship award amounts to

  • This scholarship provides $2500 annually which is non-renewable.

  • The total number of awards offered by this scholarship is limited to 2 candidates each year based on the students meeting their requirements.

Deadline info

The applications are to be presented before the end of January 31, 2020. Understudies are informed to present their grant application, and other requirements are to be submitted before the due date. Applications and other information are accessible online on the Texas Instruments website.

Eligibility Criteria

  • The applicant must be a U.S. citizen or a legal permanent resident.

  • The applicant must be enrolled for Junior Electrical Engineering as a full-time student.

  • The applicant must belong to an underrepresented group.

  • The applicant must have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or more.
