About the Scholarship
Preference is given to residents of Texas, If no qualified applicant is identified, preference will be given to residents of Arkansas. If no qualified applicant is identified, preference will be given to residents of the ARRL West Gulf (Texas, Oklahoma) or Delta (Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Tennessee) Divisions. All applicants must be active, FCC-licensed hams.
How to Apply?
In order to receive this scholarship award amount, you must complete and submit the scholarship application form to the financial aid department.
Scholarships may also require enrollment within certain major fields of study. You will not be considered for these scholarships unless your application clearly provides the necessary qualifying information.
In addition to that, you are also required to submit the official high school transcript where you are currently studying.
Also, three letters of recommendation should be submitted from your current high school teacher or counselor.
Award Amount and Deadline:
The organization is funding $1000 for all eligible candidates.
The deadline for this scholarship is 31st January 2019.
The applicant must be a resident of Texas, Oklahoma or Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Tennessee.
The applicant must be a woman Amateur Radio operator who is performing at a high academic level.
The applicant must be enrolled in an accredited two-year or four-year university or college.
