About the Scholarship

The Ingeborg Haseltine Scholarship Fund is established to support the education of women pursuing a career in the ministry of the Unitarian Universalist Association. The scholarship fund is limited and available to the students who have enrolled full-time or at least half time in a Masters of Divinity degree program. Applicants who have a greater financial burden to pursue academic education are assisted financially and in order to achieve this fund, a student is also required to show good academic results.


How to Apply for this Award?

  • A student should apply to this scholarship using the online scholarship application which is available at the official website.

  • In addition to that, an applicant must demonstrate financial assistance.

  • An applicant should provide official transcripts indicating the current college or institution where he/she is studying in.

  • A student is required to submit his/her official grade cards to determine academic performance. 


Award Amount and Deadline:

The scholarship award varies to the applicants according to the amount of funding available.

The deadline for this scholarship application is April 15th,2020.


Eligibility Criteria

  • The applicant must be a female student pursuing a career in the ministry of the Unitarian Universalist Association.

  • The applicant must be enrolled in a Masters of Divinity degree program as a full-time or half-time student that leads to fellowship as a Unitarian Universalist (UU) minister.

  • The student must demonstrate financial need.

  • The applicant must be a citizen of the United States or Canada.

  • priority is given those grantees that have demonstrated outstanding ministerial ability secondarily to students with the greatest financial need, especially persons of color.
