About the Scholarship
The Jackie Spellman Scholarship is accredited by The Jackie Spellman Foundation. The foundation was established in 2009 to honor Jackie's memory by providing college scholarships to those who suffer from leukemia or lymphoma.
What are the basic requirements needed while applying for this scholarship?
The students applying for this scholarship must have been completed their Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) application to receive this award.
Candidates must demonstrate financial need to receive this award.

This scholarship provides $5000 annually which is non-renewable.
A total of 12 awards are offered by this scholarship each year depending on the availability of funds and students maintaining thier academic progress.
The applications are to be submitted by the end of April 15, 2020. Students are informed to submit their scholarship application and other requirements are to be submitted before the due date. Applications and other information are available online on The Jackie Spellman Foundation website.
The applicant should be a graduating senior in high school who will enroll at an approved community college, or four-year university and graduate students who are leukemia or lymphoma patients.
The student has to enroll at an accredited institution for a full-time course.
The student should have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or more.
The student should produce financial needs.
