About the Scholarship
The JoAnn Heffernan Heisen Scholarship is Awarded on the basis of academic merit and financial need. The award is restricted to SU students who is a child of single-parent. The students must show good academic standing as well as they are required to demonstrate economical burden to pursue the academic studies. The awards will be a part of your financial aid package and will be disbursed to student Bursar’s account before the start of classes.
How to Apply for Scholarship?
To be considered for this scholarship, an applicant must complete the scholarship application form.
An applicant should write an essay about your academic, personal and career goals. How will your study overseas prepare you to reach those goals?
The Essay should not exceed 500 words.
Awards are funded based on financial need hence all applicants are required to demonstrate his/her family's financial position.
Award Amount and Deadline:
The Organization is funding amount ranges from $520 to $2286 to four recipients annually.
All applicants are required to submit a scholarship online application on or before May 1st.
The applicant must have good academic standing.
The applicant must demonstrate financial need.
