The LAGRANT Foundation (TLF) Graduate Scholarships

The LAGRANT Foundation is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to increase the number of ethnic minorities in the fields of advertising, marketing and public relations by providing scholarships,career and professional development workshops, mentors and internships to African American/Black, Alaska native/native American,Asian American/Pacific Islander and Hispanic/Latino undergraduate and graduate students.

The LAGRANT Foundation graduate scholarship will award 50 scholarships in the next academic year.30 scholarship for undergraduate students and 20 scholarship for graduate students. Also, the recipients will receive a trip to Cincinnati. Ohio where they will participate career building activities. During these activities, students will have the opportunity to meet industry professionals, network and gain exposure to the advertising, marketing, and public relations world.

The LAGRANT Foundation (TLF) Graduate Scholarships providing a scholarship amount $3750 for graduate students and this fund is not renewable.

The LAGRANT Foundation (TLF) Graduate Scholarships Application Deadline

The deadline is Thursday, February 28, 2020, 5:00 p.m. PST. Scholarship applications that are complete and submitted on or before January 19, 2020, 11:59 pm PST will be eligible for an extra 10 points. Applications submitted after February 28, 2020, WILL NOT be considered.

Before uploading and submitting your application online, all application documents must be combined and saved into one PDF.

 


Eligibility Criteria

  • The applicant must be a citizen or a permanent resident of the U.S. or a DACA recipient.

  • The applicant must be a member of African American/Black, Asian American/Pacific Islander, Hispanic/Latino or Native American/Alaska, Native.

  • The applicant must be enrolled in a four-year accredited university or college as a full-time student.

  • The applicant must have a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher.

  • The applicant must be pursuing a major in advertising, marketing or public relations.

  • The applicant must have a minimum of two academic semesters or a year to complete the master's program from the time of application.
