About the Scholarship
The Rossini Club started The Lucia A. Wright Piano Scholarship for students who are Maine residents and registered as music majors at any accredited music school, college, or university for the fall semester of the year they are applying for the scholarship. The Lucia A. Wright Piano Scholarship was established in the year 2001 in the honor of a member. The award is given to a candidate who has experience in playing the piano instrument for 55 years.
How to Apply for this scholarship?
All applicants are required to complete the scholarship application form, which is available on the official website in order to apply for this award.
A student should submit a transcript from a current educational institution where he/she is studying in.
A candidate must pay a $30 entry fee to the Portland Rossini Club in order to participate in the event.
A student must type a related program where he/she is interested in audition order which must contain titles, composer’s name, and composer’s dates,
An applicant also needs to give the details about the number of movements, and the length of performing time for each selection to perform.
Award Amount and Deadline:
The Organization is providing $2000 or more to all eligible candidates per academic year.
All nominated applicants are required to submit the transcript on/before May 13, 2019
The applicant must be a resident or a legal non-resident of the state of Maine.
The applicant must be enrolled or planning to enroll in an accredited musical school, university or college.
The applicant must be pursuing post-secondary education.
- Applicants must be older than 17 and be registered as music majors in the Fall of 2019 at any accredited music school, college, or university.
