About the Scholarship

UCB Family Epilepsy Scholarship is authorized by UCB, Inc. The UCB was built up to exhibit a unique promise to improve the lives of individuals living with epilepsy, including patients, relatives, and parental figures, by actually putting resources into their future. 

The UCB Family Epilepsy Scholarship Program gives financial related help to academic and individual accomplishment. The motivation behind this grant program is to demonstrate the proceeded commitment of UCB, Inc.


How to apply for this scholarship?

  • The applicants must demonstrate academic and personal achievement.

  • Must provide three letters of recommendation and an original copy of the applicant's academic transcript;

  • A photograph of the applicant is to be provided by the as described on the application. 

  • An essay is to be submitted explaining why the applicant should be selected for the scholarship.


UCB Family Epilepsy Scholarship award amounts to

  • This scholarship award ranges from $5000 to $10000 which is a one-time award and is non-renewable.

  • The total number of awards offered by this scholarship is limited to 32 candidates.


Deadline info

The applications are to be presented before the end of March 10, 2020. Understudies are informed to present their grant application and other requirements are to be submitted before the due date. Applications and other data are accessible online on the UCB, Inc website.


Eligibility Criteria

  • The applicant must be a U.S. citizen or a permanent legal resident.

  • The applicant must be suffering from epilepsy or a relative is living with epilepsy.

  • The applicant must be enrolled to pursue an associate's, undergraduate, or graduate degree or to a trade school study program.

  • The applicant must have an overall good academic standing.

  • The applicant must be a high school graduate, enrolled for higher education.

  • The applicant must not be a UCB employee or an immediate relative of a UCB employee.
